After doing all of this research on the three genres, I have chosen the genre that I will be basing my magazine around. This genre is going to be the 80's music genre. I have picked this as I feel like I have enough information based around this genres to make a successful magazine. I also feel like I really enjoy this genre myself, so it will be enjoyable to create and I can use all my ideas I have to put into my magazine. Also, I can do a lot of research into this genre and as I know quite a bit about already, I can use that knowledge of singers and bands to know what makes a good 80s magazine, and the type of singers that would have sung then.
Using my analysis of the magazines, I can choose aspects of it that I can change and use for my magazine. using other examples will help me make my magazine even more like the real thing. I will also use a questionnaire I have made to ask my target audience how they would like to see the magazine set out. I can then use their examples and answers to make it exactly what the target audience will want. This will help me to develop my own ideas.
Next, I will have to start looking into this genre in more detail. For example I will need to decide on my target audience. After doing this, I will develop a questionnaire to find out from my target audience what else I may need to put in my magazine. This will help to make my magazine perfect for the audience.
