I have asked 5 more people the questions from my questionnaire from ages starting from 37 to 49. Three were male and one female. From the information I have gathered, I can see many points that I can start to think about putting in my magazine.
For example, a point that appeared most in their answers was when I asked 'what would you like to see in an 80s magazine'. The main things said was 1) they would like to read about celebrity 'gossip'. This included celebrity relationships, facts about singers and what these people are like in real life. So this means found paragraphs about singers but not as a singer, but as their actual self. Then 2) what singers are doing now. This included information about singers concerning if they are still singing or if that have stopped. And if they haven't stopped, if they have any upcoming concerts or if that have, if they have a family. They said this would be very interesting to read about and this would make them want to buy a magazine like this. They also said 3) they would want a top ten sing list of the 80s. They said that would be interesting as they can see if their favourite songs are there and if so at what position.
This has helped me to find out what an older audience would want to read about. I can then transfer this information into my final magazine to make it appealing for all ages.
