My main charcter

This is the story for my main character for my double page spread, Robert Brown.


My character

Name: Robert Brown

My character is going to be someone who played their music in the 80s and was really big at that time. He is now going to tell their story of their life. How they he singing, his childhood, his songs and many more. He is going to be aged at 54 and he sang when he was 26 in the year 1987.

He’s lived in London for all his life in London. When he was younger, his parents got him in to music as they themselves were amateur musicians. His mother was a singer and father a guitarist. He played acoustic and electric. Due to this, he was taught how to play a guitar at the age of 14. He was playing perfectly at the age of 17. Due to his mother being a singer, he was singing by the age of 16. In his teen years, he went to school but never did any well, besides from music. At the age of 18, he had a weekend job at a small café in the centre of London where he would serve tables, then from 8 o’clock upwards would be the musical entertainment. Playing calm music on his acoustic guitar. This is how his musical career got started. He would write his own songs and play them to the small crowds in the café. He started with songs about the war and was very passionate about this as family members of his fought and died in the war. He did this until he was 20 when he mother got sick and he had to care for her. He would continue to be her career for another 3 years until she passed away. After about 4 months, (24) he stared to get back into his music career, with a dream to become the next big guitarist. He got together a small band (a drummer and another guitarist) and started to play in different music cafes. After doing this for a year, (25) a man in the audience at a show one day saw potential in them and he decided to be there manager. He got them to open a gig in 1987 (26) and the audience loved them. Straight after that, they signed a record deal with one of their songs. He started to play more electric guitar with the band, but when alone he continued to play acoustic. Now, he plays alone but recently did a reunion with his old band members
